1. Who we are

Obrillia is an adaptive learning application operated by KaizenLabs. This policy explains what information the app handles and how we protect it.

2. Our privacy-first approach

Obrillia is designed to work locally in your browser. We collect only what is necessary to provide the learning experience. Child personal details are not required to use Junior mode. By default child answers stay in the browser; parent-enabled AI feedback or provider routes may send checked prompts or answers to the configured provider.

3. Information stored on your device

Depending on how you use Obrillia, the app may store the following locally:

• Learning progress, mastery records, and quiz results (when enabled)
• Parent settings and privacy preferences
• Generated classrooms, stories, and uploaded book files you choose to keep
• Theme and display preferences

Most learner data stays in your browser unless you export it or clear site data. PDF parsing and optional provider features may send selected content through Obrillia server routes. We do not operate a mandatory cloud account for learners.

4. Children's privacy

Obrillia includes features for children. Parents or guardians should supervise use and configure privacy controls in Settings and the Parent dashboard. Optional cloud AI features require explicit parent consent and are blocked by default for Junior surfaces.

Before any Junior request may reach a local or cloud model, Obrillia runs safety checks to block personal details and unsafe content from being sent externally.

5. Third-party services

If you connect an AI, speech, image, or search provider, requests are sent only according to your settings. You are responsible for reviewing the privacy terms of any provider you connect. Obrillia does not sell personal data.

6. Analytics and cookies

Obrillia does not use third-party advertising trackers. Essential browser storage (localStorage, IndexedDB, and similar) is used so the app can remember your preferences and progress on this device. 7. Your choices

You can:

• Adjust privacy controls in Settings and the Parent dashboard
• Export or delete local data using in-app tools where available
• Clear site data in your browser to remove stored information

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect data handled by the app. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure; please keep devices and browsers up to date.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of Obrillia after changes means you accept the revised policy.
